Copied the post of the SA to the President, WORD FOR WORD and did not edit anything. Define shamelessness again. This is not a country AT ALL and the election process is NOT in safe hands with such a body!
INEC Nigeria@inecnigeria

INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION PRESS STATEMENT INEC CHAIRMAN HAS NO ACCOUNT ON X, DISREGARD PARTISAN FABRICATIONS The attention of the Office of the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has been drawn to a malicious and coordinated campaign of calumny circulating on social media. The false claim alleges that the INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, has, in the past, endorsed a partisan post on the platform X (formerly Twitter). The Commission wishes to state categorically that this allegation is entirely baseless, a total fabrication, and a figment of the imagination of its purveyors. For the avoidance of doubt, the INEC Chairman does not own or operate any personal account on X. He has at no time engaged in partisan commentary, nor has he ever associated himself with any political leaning or activity in his private or public capacity. This contrived X post is a desperate attempt to impugn the integrity and neutrality of the Chairman at a critical period when the Commission is focused on significant electoral reforms and preparations for upcoming polls. It is a needless distraction designed to stir public distrust in the electoral umpire. Beyond this partisan mischief, the Commission is aware that cybercriminals have been on the prowl, utilising fake social media accounts in the Chairman’s name to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians. We wish to place it on record that several of such fraudulent accounts had been identified and reported to security agencies in the past. This latest fabrication is merely a continuation of a criminal pattern aimed at exploiting the Commission’s profile for illicit gains. The Commission will not fold its arms while the character of its leadership is being assassinated by digital imposters and mischief-makers. We wish to notify the public that we are working in close collaboration with relevant security agencies and cyber-intelligence units to track and identify the individuals or groups behind this identity theft and misinformation. Let it be clearly understood that the Commission will ensure that these imposters face the full wrath of the law. Identity theft and the dissemination of deepfake or forged social media interactions are criminal offenses under the Cybercrimes Act. Those responsible for this mischief will be tracked and prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others who believe the digital space is a safe haven for criminality. The general public is hereby urged to disregard this falsehood in its entirety. We will continue to disseminate official information regarding the Commission and the Chairman’s activities only through our verified institutional channels and formal press statements. The Commission remains undeterred and fully committed to its mandate of delivering free, fair, and credible elections for all Nigerians. E-Signed: Adedayo Oketola Chief Press Secretary/Media Adviser to the INEC Chairman Abuja, Nigeria. 10th April, 2026

As you turn 30 this year, remember that APC came into power when you were 19. That's 11 solid years of your prime wasted. You must hate APC with passion.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but most of us may not be able to survive another Tinubu tenure. That man is clearly clueless, and we can't afford to have Tinubu as our president anymore. Please do not vote for Tinubu. Vote Tinubu out!

Please learn to separate Hezbollah and Hamas from whatever “jihadists” you are referring to. Those are resistance group. At least that is how they identify themselves. America does not have the authority to dictate who is or is not a terrorist. I don’t understand why you think they are on a jihad when it is Israel that is occupying their lands. I hope you are aware that the same America is now working with the individual in the image below after spending years calling him a terrorist and even issuing a $10,000 bounty on his head. Why should I respect America’s definition of a terrorist, given such inconsistency? Finally, Nigeria is not overrun by jihadist extremists; Nigeria is under attack from terrorists being funded and sustained by America. There is plenty of evidence to this effect. I don’t understand how anyone from this part of the world could consider America a friend.

Sometimes, the enemy of your enemy is not your friend. Nigeria is currently threatening to be overrun by jihadist extremist. Your new friends are sympathetic to Hezbollah, Hamas, Ansar Allah etc.

Never trust a negotiation with America. This is not cynicism. This is the documented historical record. 1954: Geneva Accords. America refuses to sign. Then actively destroys the conditions the Accords created. 1968: Paris Peace Talks begin. Nixon, as a private citizen, secretly contacts the South Vietnamese government and tells them to stall, to refuse to negotiate, because he'll give them a better deal after he wins the election. He sabotaged peace talks to win a presidency. This is documented. This is not disputed. This is called the Logan Act violation that was never prosecuted. The war then continued for seven more years. Millions more died. For a Nixon election strategy. 1973: Peace Accords signed. Immediately violated. 1975: War ends not through negotiation but because the Vietnamese military simply drove to Saigon and took it. Conclusion: Every time Vietnam trusted American paper, Americans used the pause to regroup, rearm, or reposition. The only thing that ended the war was making it impossible to continue. Not signatures. Not summits. Not Nobel Prizes. Impossibility. That is the lesson. Not just for Vietnam. For everyone sitting across a table from Washington, wondering whether to believe what they're being told.

Hahaha. @officialABAT played zero role to end Third Term. I was Special Adviser on Research and Strategy to Ken Nnamani. I wrote the iconic speech. It was all of Ken with Atiku and Buhari and such Senators like Yari Ghandi. In fact, El Rufai, Oby and Nuhu Ribadu played more role because they encouraged Ken to go against their boss. Tinubu was basically not in the mix
AJE@Riddwane

When President Olusegun Obasanjo, a Yoruba man, began scheming for a third term in office after the 2003 elections, the then Governor Bola Tinubu, also a Yoruba man, spearheaded the national resistance. Tinubu was in the vanguard of the efforts to defeat the obnoxious Third Term Bill, which was heavily funded by Obasanjo’s hatchet men in the National Assembly. Southwest progressive politicians were vocal in their opposition to the TTA Bill, with only a few within the PDP supporting Obasanjo’s unconstitutional move. Why didn’t Yoruba people unite in support of Obasanjo’s third-term plan? S’East kids, who obviously lack knowledge of the Nigeria’s political history, would come online and readily insult others. Let Akin Tollgate, for instance, openly criticised Peter Obi, whom he national supported, for lacking political strategy to win elections. No one needs a soothsayer to predict the outrage that would follow the post. You would see them shouting “bigotry” while deliberately overlooking the fact that the dumb Agulu Gbajue, despite his name, can never be equated to his tribe in political discussions.
