Idk how many basketball (nerds) need to hear this. But...
Jalen Brunson sees the other team's best 2 defenders, sometimes 3. He attracts the pressure. His 29.5 a game on 40% against that is what ALLOWS OG Anunoby to score his 24 on 56%. If Jalen doesn't, OG can't capitalize.

This Brunson stuff is so funny because people want you to believe the 4th quarter stuff is why he's the Finals MVP but OG Anunoby has scored 25 PTS in the three wins to Brunson 29 4th quarter points in the three wins but... That's because Brunson has taken 12 more shots in their 3 wins in the 4th... But yes if I ignore the defense, rebounding, transition stops (!!!), shooting, and also elite 4th quarter play... I guess OG hasn't been as good as Brunson.

I would still choose Brunson for FMVP. Guy creating the space -> guys capitalising on it. Towns and OG are completely defensible picks though, wouldn't be bothered either way.

@lowe_jeff @JustEsBaraheni Agreed, been very surprised by all these talks. All is true about OG deserving it but how many of his shots are somewhat open catch and shoots? Vs what Brunson deals with being the main ball handler.

@JustEsBaraheni Brunson would be the right pick. OG and KAT have had their moments but the Knicks don't win without Brunson and it shouldn't even be close.

Who wins Finals MVP?
KAT has the highest plus-minus in the post-season and Finals. OG is scoring 20+ on the best efficiency ever + the game winner. Brunson has struggled shooting but has his 3 clutch buckets and huge fourth quarters. Would lean OG. But they all have a case!
