@NebsGoodTakes It's still pretty great even in high end content the lower dmg numbers is probably due to the visual rework they did around EoF so you're still doing solid dps with it

If you wish Marathon to fail then Sony can say players don't want Bungie games. If everyone goes to Marathon then Sony can say we never wanted Destiny. What I'm getting at is, this isn't a Marathon problem, this is a Management problem. Thats's your enemy, not other players.

@YesterdaysFav It literally builds upon established lore and characters from the original games you can choose not to fw extraction shooters but to ignore the actual love and care put into the game enough to be a direct continuation is laughable

@JCLofi You people have no idea how this works. If you support Marathon, then that tells Sony that we want more Marathon. We do not want Marathon. People should avoid playing it. We already voted with our time and our wallets for Destiny. They gave us Marathon.

@ParkerReidy Which was barely the issue when it came to their mismanagement of destiny itself when it came to the handling of lightfall, edge of fate, etc. The game was heading down a bad path for years long before marathon was even up to boot.

@JCLofi I mean…the resource allocation is determined by leadership.

Even if Marathon wasn't an extraction shooter these losers would still be bitching about the game regardless of it being successful or not

@ParkerReidy Destiny 2 getting canned is less of the allocation of resources and more of the mismanagement of the game by leadership

@JCLofi Yes, but also no, if it was set up like Halo (campaign mode, pve firefight like mode, and arena PvP) it would’ve been way more successful. Yes Destiny players would be mad, but good chance Destiny wouldn’t have been killed because of it

@JCLofi Verbiage does matter. And he has actively told his viewers to not go start shit or shit on streamers who choose to play marathon. He said this was a personal choice and that others don’t have to. Granted some of this was from today.

I love/hate destiny 2 but these youtubers have been doomposting for ages and have been calling the game shit (which it has been) but now they're switching up so hard and want the game to live long enough to ensure a 3rd game which just isn't possible without more people hired
