A handful of officials at the @CityofTampa and @TampaSportsAuth appear determined to push the team elsewhere rather than work toward a deal that benefits the community. The obstruction is obvious, and Tampa Bay residents deserve transparency about the interests influencing these decisions. @RaysForeverHome

Tampa Bay has always been a great baseball area — from the days of Ruth and Gehrig in spring training to the legends who hail from Tampa like Boggs, McGriff, etc. The Rays can have a strong future in Tampa Bay. Just need the right formula.
