First round in a while. 38 pts. -.3 unless there is pcc. Often hit it quite straight but the old swing keeps creeping in though it is easier to get back to a better swing. Got tired towards the end of the round and missed out on a few more points. 2026 might not suck big league.

@DutchBKate The ECB has really lost the plot. They have enforced Kookaburra ball rounds in the county championship the last two years but none of the test players were sent back to play in those rounds and none of the county players were even considered for the test team. WTF indeed.

This facade of the ECB being more engaged with the counties has started well. Tongue and Duckett who haven't played since the Sydney Test and v Sri Lanka on 3rd Feb are more allowed to play for Nottinghamshire next week because they're being rested. No doubt more to follow.
