The ICC announced that "France Cricket", not "France" will be taking part in the upcoming Men's T20 WC Europe sub regional qualifier A in Cyprus but as you can see from the fixtures on the ICC website, they're back to France again. @coynejames @BdJcricket

England openers: From the 15 players the 3 stooges have picked, only Rew has opened the batting this season with 0 & 4. No other batter has opened. I'm sure the @BLACKCAPS new ball bowlers are licking their lips.

@darren58786546 @WG_RumblePants @BrxndonT I didn't even hint at dropping him. Why don't people read properly. I have a problem with almost all the media saying he is a dead cert or an established player. I think he's enormously talented & would pick him but a shoe in like Joe Root? Definitely not.

Why is Jacob Bethell a shoe in or "established" in the Test squad? Is it just because he scored a fabulous 154 in the last innings of Test cricket that England played & everyone has short memories? He averages less than 10 in the 1st innings in his Test career.

@Gameday523 I never said drop him. I just have no idea why he is guaranteed his place. Every pundit and journalist says he is a shoe in or established (not that I know how he can be established after 3 Tests since beginning of 2025). It's the wording that annoys me, not that he will play.

@will464775 I'm just pointing out the facts like any other statistician. If you think he should be a shoe in to the Test side just because he's scored 100s in a T20 and a ODI then that is your opinion. I'm not actually saying he shouldn't play but I don't get why he's guaranteed a spot

Does anyone know when the next Future Tours Program is out? 5 Ashes Tests in England (being over by mid/late July) is a shoe in. I fear too many Test series will be down to 2 or 3 Tests. 🙁

@littleweena I agree he is a talent and seems to be a cracking lad but it showed last year that going to the IPL was shit for his Test batting. We will find out sooner rather than later.
