The fact that a franchise that:
- won '19 Draft Lottery (2nd overall pick)
- won '20 Lottery (12th best odds to 1st pick)
- got Panarin (+Gavrikov, Trocheck, etc.) in FA
- had Fox force his way there
- has Shesterkin
...is so bad that they NEED another lottery win is pathetic.

Hand up. These guys served their roles excellently in this tournament. USA penalty kill went PERFECT and killed a 5 on 3 today. Their legacies will be Gold Medalists, not the Ranger stink the had heading into the games.
