If there is precisely one thing you watch today, make it this. French Senator Claude Malhuret. A microphone. And the most magnificently savage dismantling of the Trump administration ever delivered in a language they almost certainly don’t speak. He covers Iran. He covers corruption. He covers the kind of staggering, industrial-scale incompetence that would get you fired from managing a car park. And he does it with the calm, unhurried certainty of a man who has read every page of the indictment and found it, if anything, worse than expected. France has never pretended to like these people. But this is contempt elevated to an art form. The kind of refined, aristocratic disdain that takes centuries of civilization to produce and approximately ninety seconds to deploy. Malhuret sounds like he is four seconds from the button. Not out of panic. Out of sheer, exhausted disgust. Honestly? Understandable. Watch it. Share it. The adults are speaking. The US is not cutting aid to Ukraine. It already did that. The US is stealing critical defense equipment meant for Ukraine already paid for by NATO allies so it can prop up a bullshit war in the Middle East.

Rima 🇺🇦 The Red Queen of Donbas
They’re talking about “giving up Donbas” like it’s just a region on a map. That’s my home. The place I was born. The streets I know by heart. The people who raised me. The memories that didn’t disappear just because Russia decided to invade. And now the idea is simple: trade it away for “security guarantees.” There is nothing secure about abandoning your home. No deal, no pressure, no politician gets to decide that my home, our home, is expendable. Donbas is not a negotiation point. It’s where we come from. And we’re not giving it away. Period!

@nicole_daruda @CanadaFP Um, when did NATO/US lose to Russia? putin is hanging on in Ukraine, carrying out war crimes every day and has lost over a million thru death/injury, as well as ruined russia's economy. He'd be better off to give up and leave, but of course he won't.

This week, Russia carried out massive aerial strikes against Ukraine – among the largest since 2022 – damaging civilian infrastructure and a UNESCO World Heritage site in Lviv.

On this day in history in 1958, Elvis Presley was inducted into the U.S. Army. It was widely covered by the media, with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker, ensuring that every moment was documented, including when Elvis received his famous G.I. haircut. Although Elvis was offered the opportunity to entertain the troops and have better housing by enlisting in Special Services, he chose to serve as a regular soldier. Elvis served in Germany for 18 months, where he met his future wife, Priscilla. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1960.

Just to be clear, today we had a record of 1000 Shaheds hitting Ukraine, the highest since the beginning of the war. You cannot blame our heroes for only destroying 99% of them, they are doing EVERYTHING to close the skies without any support from the US administration.

@Reuters The US is not going to war with Russia under this administration. So what are ‘security guarantees’ really worth? And who is Washington to bargain away my home, my community, my friends so easily?

March 25, 1949. The Soviet regime’s Operation ‘Priboj’ deported nearly 94,000 people from the #Baltics — 34,000 of them from #Lithuania, including teachers, doctors, farmers, clergy, and freedom fighters. Over the next decade, Lithuania faced 35 mass deportations. A total of 132,000 people, mostly women and children, were exiled to uninhabitable regions of Russia. Many men who resisted were executed. Fewer than half of the deportees ever returned. The crimes of communism never faced a true ‘Nuremberg’. This lack of accountability allowed the same imperial mindset to survive — and today, Russia’s aggression against #Ukraine shows the consequences of unpunished crimes. Remembering the victims is a political necessity — to ensure such atrocities never happen again. Photo©️Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights, Vilnius

Today, 77 years ago, around 95,000 people were violently deported from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to Siberia in 1949. Many were small children and elderly, forced into freezing, damp cattle wagons. Just four years after World War II, while much of Europe lived in peace, Soviet terror continued behind the Iron Curtain. Same russian terror continues to this very day in Europe.

💥 948 drones in 24 hours. russia spends billions claiming civilizational superiority. Yesterday, they hit a monastery, a maternity ward, a civilian train. They want the Western public to get used to it. Ukraine doesn't need our pity. It needs our refusal to get used to this.
