When God sent the great flood upon the earth, He instructed Noah to take one pair (male and female) of every kind of animal onto the ark. Because God saw no fault or sin in them—they were innocent.
So why, when a bomb falls during war, do innocent animals get injured or killed, and no one seems to think about them? Why isn't any thought given to their suffering? Why aren't they provided a safe distance or protected like the innocent creatures in Noah's story?
Animals have no part in human conflicts, yet they pay the heaviest price in silence.
What do you think? Should we do more to protect them in times of war?
