So, some schools are closed tomorrow for Eid. Why? We are not an islamic country, so it should not be happening. We don't have days off for Diwali, Yom Kippur etc, so why, yet again, do moslems get special treatment? Our whole country is being upset to pander to 6% of us.

@NickWestbyNew @Wirralpix I suspect that schools with a large number of Muslim pupils choose to use one of their five INSET days as they know those pupils will not be in school. It’s actually a sensible thing to do and ensures that children’s learning is not disrupted.
