@justinebaseball Free tickets for youth on games that don’t sell out. No reason there should be 9,000 fans in a 35,000 sear stadium. Charge the parents, grow the game by letting kids enter free.

Dude was a stud. I got to play with him. Smart player too. He once told me after an 0fer, when my batting avg dropped to .190 “that’s awesome if you go 1for5 your avg will go up” he got my mimd right & I got back on track hitting over .300 that year

UNREAL PLAY BY HIGASHIOKA WITH 2 OUTS & BASES LOADED He’s expecting a FB,most of which have been in the 97-100 MPH range, & Cole throws a nasty curveball & Higashika catches it.Hard to explain how exceptional that play was. Impossible to prepare for that situation @ those speeds.

Have to be calm during the storm and sometimes you need a fighter's mentality-Emotion! What buttons to push and how to react is to some degree a skill set. Wear many hats as a catcher at times

FYI, Michael Jordan played football, basketball AND baseball in High School. Remember this the next time someone tells you to specialize. The 🐐 didn’t.
