I didn't really see more hate for delicious than average, as for Atelier, the strongest criticism of it I have seen is that it is basically the same kind of goy-slop as many western media. The fact that western cultural institutions, that shun most anime, praise Atelier only supports the claim.

You guys have more AAA games, but you definitely don’t have more exclusive AAA games. The keyword is exclusive. Nintendo loan releases 8-9 exclusive games every single year. Wow, is a 20 year-old game. StarCraft two is a 16-year-old game. There was not a single triple exclusive that released on PC last year. This is why I say you guys get treated like second class citizens, nobody wants to develop exclusive games for PC even though you’re a bigger market. Because of piracy.

I see your point and let me explain what’s wrong with your point. Make the games cheap, and the service good enough to justify the cost. $80 games are worth the price and do justify the cost. The problem is people like you don’t think so, because steam has conditioned all PC fanboy to buy games at 95% off. Now in your minds, you have this pattern where the game is at 95% off it’s not worth buying. This type of business model is not sustainable. Have you ever tried to play mobile games on a smart phone? They’re all free to play or a bunch of gotcha games. Is that what you want? PC is the same way, PC doesn’t have AAA exclusive games because you guys pirate and expecting to be 95% off. But on Nintendo and Sony, we gladly pay $80 for a new game and they reward us with more exclusives. Studios are incentivize to make great games $80. The better the game, the more sales are made.
