Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba
I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film
As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes
It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions.
But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

Vietnam happened during a completely different era of warfare. Targeting was imprecise. All attacks were manned. And the situation was also very different, with millions of troops on the ground on both sides.
There's barely anything even applicable
Sarah@Sarah_pdx
I understand why people are hesitant to write it but if we’re going to have a “what can we learn from how the U.S. was defeated in Vietnam” round of discourse I think the most pertinent comparison is that the tactics of the axis of resistance are far less effective than Vietnam’s

JUST IN: US is allowing Iranian oil to pass through the Strait of Hormuz

@NukedUSA @CCTrain99 If he was your friend, this is a conversation you'd have in private, to try and convince him of your perspective. Not something you'd loudly & clumsily declare on twitter.
This isn't about anti imperialism, this is about your dopamine rush & undiagnosed bipolar disorder.

@AidanSimardone He really thinks he can tweet to make Iran surrender. It's already known bombing civilian infrastructure and killing civilians does not end war.
English

@DantonChidera Iran has supported the Sudanese army if I'm not mistaken.

You intentionally decided to chase clout and I hope they come for you just as you wish.
Who said Iran's bombing of the UAE is linked to Sudan? Who doesn't know that Iran is not a cowardly country that wouldn't want to sit idly against its aggressor?
You cannot claim not to understand what is meant by "Iran is liberating Sudan". You're simply (unknowingly perhaps), kicking off a bullshit resentment among African supporters of Iran, who try to add up the Iran war in a broader geopolitical context, and their counterparts who sympathize with Sudan. Everything doesn't deserve to be tweeted about. Stop creating space for unnecessarily destructive agendas.
Saroyah♡ྀི🎀@saroyahx
In all seriousness, Iran is not liberating Sudan. Sudanese men and women are. People who had no choice but to pick up arms to defend their country. Thousands have died for Sudan, not for you to praise Iran. Iran is bombing US assets in the UAE for its own geopolitical reasons, not for Sudan. Sudan is fighting to liberate itself from the UAE-backed RSF.

@GKK239 @DD_Geopolitics Nigga is just making shit up. Americans smh.

Yes, for this so-called professor, “End of the World” means the end of the Xi regime in China, due to China’s critical strategic position: losing the Middle East to Israel as the dominant superpower there, losing Asia to India and a new Iran (with US and Israeli support), Russia pivoting toward the United States, and so on.
It means the inability to build the Belt and Road Initiative, to take Taiwan by force, the end of cheap oil and gas, economic decline, and the eventual collapse of the Xi regime due to internal power struggles.

🎙️ THE END IS NEAR? Professor Jiang on Jimmy Dore:
The Trump administration ignored the Constitution, ignored international law, ignored the American public the majority of whom opposed this war before it started and still do.
Now there are rumors of ground troops. His theory on why none of that matters to them: this isn't a political war. It's an eschatological one.
Dore asks: "You think the ultimate purpose for people like Pete Hegseth and Benjamin Netanyahu is the end of the world — is that really what you're saying?"
"Yes. Unfortunately I am forced to come to this conclusion."
