@LeBasedLiberal @jenny2x4 Ok so you don’t know what fundamentalism is lol
English

@TJPgoblue70 @fire_starter457 We know it as a fact, the names were attached much later in the 2nd century by Irenaeus, before that these were oral traditions spreading through Ancient Rome. There is no one author of folk legend
English

@LeBasedLiberal @fire_starter457 That’s possible but we certainly don’t KNOW that as a fact

No one knows what Jesus preached. He didn’t write anything down. None of his contemporaries did either. Everything you think you know was written decades after the crucification. By anonymous authors who never met Jesus. In a language Jesus didn’t speak.
Imagine an entire religion based on fan fiction. 🤷
English

@TJPgoblue70 @fire_starter457 The names attached to the Gospels aren’t the authors of the texts themselves
English

@fire_starter457 Just not entirely true either. Epistles were written during the lifetime of the original Apostles as were the Synoptics. Two of the Gospel writers were Apostles & the other 2 may have been personal witnesses as well although that’s not certain
English

@MenWhoSawJesus @fire_starter457 That’s like saying we know exactly what Odysseus said. You have no idea how ancient literature works
English

@fire_starter457 Preposterous!
We know exactly what Jesus said.
Any allusion to the contrary is a lie without any historical evidence.

@MartinTweats This doesn't prove God
It assumes controversial premises: That infinite regress is impossible and that a first cause must be necessary, intelligent, and possess will
Most of the work is done by the assumptions, not the logic

@MartinTweats We have no way of knowing if there is an uncaused cause or not. You are just using it as an axiom. We simply don't know. It may well be a causality loop or an infinite cause, or anything else. Also lets grant you your axiom what makes you think the uncaused cause is sentient?
English

@correyallen2 @jenny2x4 Gee I don’t know maybe the fact they have 10 kids and the women all wear dresses
English

@jenny2x4 So what makes them fundamentalist exactly? That they live on a farm?
English

@jeffersonation1 And like I said, other countries have a vested interest in American isolationism and the collapse of US unipolarity. You fools really think Israel is the only country playing cards in this game. Tunnel vision
English

When the bombs dropped, pro-government rallies erupted in Tehran, crowds mourned Khamenei and rallied against the US and Israel. We united them against us.
Also, the regime change plan was literally drawn up by Israeli intelligence, presented to Netanyahu, then handed to Trump officials who had doubts about its viability but expressed optimism anyway. You just described Israeli lobbying as American foreign policy. Lmao.
English

52% of people in this poll would rather have wars, Palantir surveillance state and dead children than pronouns. This is the culture war brain they’ve been building for 10 years

Libertarians against Trump@jeffersonation1
What's far worse?
English

@jeffersonation1 Iranians marched to their deaths expecting us to help, they want the regime gone.
The problem with the anti Israel crowd is you only care about lobbying when anyone remotely pro Israel does it. But theres money on all sides. Special interests are pushing your position too
English

Cheney wanted to attack Iran for 8 years and didn’t. Bush wanted to for 8 years and didn’t. They knew that there’s no clean exit, no compliant replacement government and no regional ally willing to hold the country together after. Every think tank war-gamed this.
Isrsel literally lobbied Trump to start this war by ripping apart Obama's nuclear deal in 2017. That's an objective fact.
English

@jeffersonation1 Yes…like I said, Trump is an incompetent buffoon of a statesman who isn’t the man for any job. Hes bought out by Qatar and still cares what the groypers have to say, they are half of his fanbase after all, no matter how much yall cry about Israel
English

@LeBasedLiberal The regime is still standing and more hardline than February. So we didn’t even get the thing you’re defending. We got nothing.
English

@theerealtao It’s the only honest position when it really comes down to anything
English

@jeffersonation1 A free Iran will be a great benefit to the world. Trump is an incompetent buffoon of a statesman who is beholden to money and media. He’s not the man for any job. But regime change in Iran is 100% America first
English

@LeBasedLiberal ‘In the interests of the West’ the Strait of Hormuz is closed, oil is at record highs, Europe is destabilized, western allies don't even wanna help us, Iran's regime is now far more radical than ever before and we spent billions to achieve these "goals". Whose interests exactly?
English

@MartinTweats Weak standards of evidence. Arguments from incredulity.
“I don’t know, therefore God” is often the root of theist logic
English

If atheism is a result of common sense, then how did acquiring common sense through studying logic lead me from atheism to theism?
Ola 🧑🏿💻@Atomsmade
No atheist goes to church to learn about atheism. Religious studies are taught as a subject in schools. Atheism is often the direct result of sound education and common sense. It doesn't need to be taught!
English

@AtheistTakes Good question. Why would a just God determine your eternal fate based on whether you believed a Middle Eastern tribal legend? It is pretty strange
English

@MimiSchizo Reformed is more a philosophically coherent theology than standard Christianity
English

@camolNFT You put the whole river to the sea as Israel 😂bro is accidentally an ultra Zionist 🇮🇱
