@HACKETTREF This is problem with recruiting from within when standards already low. He won’t ‘manage’ the officials properly and feels compelled to defend the indefensible. Collum has not improve standards at all. He needs to fall on sword or be sacked in order for SFA to restore some kudos.

So Willie Collum backing John Beaton to award penalty after only 17 sec review on advice of Andrew Dallas to award penalty to Celtic v Motherwell has been adjudged to be wrong by KMI. The WORLD knew it was wrong. What an awful look for Collum & shows Dallas has too much influence

@TheRefsView Collum has not improved the standard of refereeing one iota. I would suggest it’s because his man management skills are non existent. When referees or VAR officials have poor performance they are rewarded by bigger games straight away? That’s not how you deal with failure.

The fact McClean failed to give Hearts a penalty which the SFA admitted was a mistake & which ultimately decided the title & then to be rewarded with the cup final absolutely reeks of corruption & rewarded for "job done"

@jonnyrmcfarlane Agreeing to end the game certainly dilutes the Hearts argument. But the games WAS still abandoned and Hearts players still appeared to be assaulted/confronted - both of which should STILL be unacceptable, surely?

Hearts had access to this prior to their statement which makes it retrospectively baffling why they’d issue it.

@JYHYCN The SPFL did claim that. So that’s true. However, he hadn’t blown his whistle. The SPFL are trying to sweep under carpet. O’Neill himself gave the game away when he initially said the fourth official told him there was a minute to play. The ref audio will be crucial.

@portyhearts Geez. Only in Scotland can a ref have an absolute howler, then get the Scottish Cup final. Unless of course it’s a reward?
