Congress must quickly decide a national rule under which a candidate for office is disqualified by the 14th Amendment. We cannot allow any election official in any state to disqualify someone.

Parents argue that LGBQ content in the classroom amounts to indoctrination and conflicts with their religious beliefs. However, what they cannot understand is that THEIR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS REPRESENTS the INDOCTRINATION of children.

@jackiekcalmes We can all agree that the 14th Amendment bars Trump from the presidency -- if he is a resurrectionist. But is he from a legal point of view? He has not yet been convicted of that crime and his supporters would argue that he is not a resurrectionist.

You miss the point. The Republican party does not care about saving any lives. They only want to save the right to own assault weapons.

We need action in the federal and state legislatures for better gun control,” witness Steven Spainhouer told MSNBC. “I’m saying this as someone who loves guns….I'm a former police officer. I’m a former Army officer.” Spainhouer rushed desperately to aid those wounded and dying after shots rang out a little after 3:30 p.m. May 6. He said the victims had such horrific injuries that they had to be loaded into police cars because ambulances would not have gotten them to nearby trauma facilities fast enough.  He also said he also found a child, who survived while covered by his protective mother who had been killed. Ultimately, Spainhouer says what he witnessed Saturday will haunt him for the rest of his life.  Now, he’s calling on Congress to DO SOMETHING. Why do we protect the right of law-abiding citizens to own assault rifles, but do nothing to protect the law-abiding citizens who are killed with these weapons?
