Hundreds of veterans in Mississippi—556 to be exact—are still waiting for access to the full benefits they earned through their service. SR 58, a resolution introduced in the state Senate, brings this issue into focus and calls on Congress to advance the Major Richard Star Act. Efforts like this help ensure the voices of veterans are heard beyond the state level.
