If as an embassy you can’t make a decision one way or another after 2 weeks, return people’s passports. It’s not a life and death issue. That’s the whole point of the processing fee. That you hire enough hands to manage the process. There are only 12 months in a year, if you, one embassy, keeps people’s passports for a month or more, how do you expect them to navigate the year if other embassies are just as sloppy and incompetent? I am really just so tired of these embassies and I am even more tired of calling specific embassies out. Everyone just needs to treat citizens of other countries like they would theirs.
