@UncleApes @Yam1rdr1 @DrJStrategy “Confidently wrong is still wrong" Iran still making $140m profit for day with oil barrels exports thus one of the main reasons Oil Futures are below $100 Barrel despite the claims "greatest energy crisis of our lifetime". Relax, it's not personal.

@MiloshOffical @Yam1rdr1 @DrJStrategy Lmao did one ship dock at an Iranian port that was allowed through? No it did not. This is a blockade on Iran not other countries exporting their goods. Idk how to make this more clear. The blockade only effects Iran. It doesn't effect UAE, doesn't effect Saudi Arabia or Iraq

Food for thought. Yes, the New Great Game is unfolding. No nation stands to gain more from a closure of the Strait of Hormuz than the United States, across the short, medium, and long term. This logic is embedded in President Trump’s National Security Strategy, with the Trump Doctrine now visible in practice. Strategically, China loses on multiple fronts with Hormuz closed: seaborne Middle Eastern supplies are constrained just as Venezuelan crude is increasingly redirected toward the U.S. Gulf Coast on short, politically secure routes. At the same time, the Strait of Malacca, and with it, the broader Malacca Dilemma, moves to the center of gravity. In parallel, the Sunda, Lombok, Makassar, and Mindoro Straits remain critical arteries for Chinese trade and energy flows. Together, they constitute the geographic chokepoints of Beijing’s vulnerability, and Washington is acutely aware of this. Yes, the New Great Game is unfolding, and Wall Street has yet to comprehend the consequences.

@MiloshOffical @Yam1rdr1 @DrJStrategy The blockade is only on ships docking at Iranian ports dude lmao. USA is not blockading their allies like the UAE who also use the straight 🤣 No ships from Iranian ports have been allowed out of the Gulf. What's interesting is Iran is allowing the ships docking elsewhere to pass

@Yam1rdr1 @MiloshOffical @DrJStrategy It's back in action after the laundry fire. It went for service briefly. Kind of funny a laundry fire can take an aircraft carrier out of service but not Iran 🤣

The reality is Rogers isn’t firing Keith Pelley — he was handpicked by Ed Rogers to help justify and maximize the NHL broadcast deal, one of the most criticized media rights deals out there. Pelley played a key role in that $11B structure, and its perceived success is tightly tied to the performance and relevance of the Leafs in Ontario. This where the issue compounds. When you prioritize short-term wins and success to prop up a massive overvalue media rights deal, you end up with rushed, ill-advised decisions , like last year’s trade moves that mortgage the future for immediate optics. We’re all seeing the effects of that now. Using Pelley history to look in the future, it will not change. Pelley’s track record is consistent: chase quick fixes, repackage them as bold strategy, and overlook long-term stability. The risk is the same pattern repeats betting on unproven front office names (Sunny Metha or Brett Peterson) selling them as visionary hires, and setting the organization back decades instead of building it up. History never repeats itself, but it 100% rhythms.

Total agreement. No NHL Insider has got the "balls" to actually press him on it. This isn’t new behavior from Keith Pelley, this is how he ran TSN, EU Golf and now MLSE, it’s been his MO for decades. At some point, you have to ask him directly, what did you think is going to happen when you keep your own inflated ego cause according to Keith "smartest man in room just ask him he never shy to brag" & prioritizing cost-cutting over the very people and product that drive the business?
