I have this weird thing, I think it's simply just ADHD overstimulation - that said there is a physical feeling that is kind of funny when I describe it. You know how your belly feels after a big ass thanksgiving dinner and grandma made too many yams so she made you eat an extra plate? Sometimes when Im really deep into learning a new subject and putting it to use at the same time, the inside of my head feels that way. anyone else?

i lowkey dont understand how people are entirely "vibe coding" apps - im working on this very basic CRUD app now, trying to be 100% hands off, and its just not possible. I would have built this app manually at 3 times faster.

I see posts about 5.6 Sol and Fable 5 all the time. Makes sense, they’re awesome, I use them, too. But my unexpected winner from last week is Grok 4.5! It’s fast, cheaper / more efficient and really good in my experience.

Opus 5 Leaks - Opus 5 is targeting a launch by the end of this month. - A "Honeycomb EAP" model appeared in Cursor for some users before disappearing, and it could be an early Opus 5 preview. - Honeycomb EAP has a 1M context window, making - Opus 5 most likely (Haiku is expected to have 300K context). - Hopefully, Opus 5 reaches Fable/Mythos-level capabilities.

@dbreunig doesnt have to be a tonne of prompts, oneshotting is still possible with great prompt engineering. A better metric is based on the quality of prompting - even with a 100 prompts, you'll still get slop if you're not prompting with quality.

This feels right. Slop occurs because people think AI's first shot is sufficient. It takes many turns of honing to exceed the communicative quality of your initial input. If you aren't going to spend the time and turns, send your original prompt as the email.

I'm never making the switch from claude to chatGPT. Seeing other people have this issue with chatgpt where it just straight deletes all your data. just got every chrome profile I had on my laptop wiped. Extremely frustrating.

GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra was given a full set of character references and asked to rebuild the character in Blender, rig it, create three animations, export a real GLB, and build a complete Three.js showcase around it. The entire pipeline was completed in 2 hours and 11 minutes. The final model still loses some of the original proportions, costume structure, and material fidelity, but going from reference images to a rigged, animated 3D character running in the browser is already a very strong result. Seeing this comparison being done a lot on my x feed. Here's my take: Grok is the only llm built with a native, direct access to X's live post stream which means it has access to live posts, sentiment, trending discussion. Since this is it's unique feature, it's great for journalism, sociology, predictive markets based off of live public sentiment

@xmangonic Grok is the only llm built with a native, direct access to X's live post stream which means it has access to live posts, sentiment, trending discussion. Since this is it's unique selling point, it would have to be playing to this strength. So maybe something like an analyst?
