After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. @Michaelfiore fun story: when my ex was a kid, his mom had purchased some ladybugs at the garden store and put them in the back seat of the car with him. As they are driving home going like 70 on the highway, he OPENED THE BAG OF LADYBUGS and they swarmed the car and they had to pull over. 🐞

Yeah, don’t do this. I quit selling ladybugs years ago for several reasons: 1) Ladybugs are not farm-raised like other beneficial bugs are. They are wild collected. People go out with scoops and shop vacs in the mountains of California when ladybugs are hibernating en masse and gather them up. They then refrigerate them and package them for selling. This means that the ladybugs you buy are not native to your area and will wake up very disoriented, which leads to my next point- 2) They leave (fly away) as soon as you release them. Not only are they confused upon release, but they’re also territorial. If you release 1,500 of them you’ll be lucky if even a few of them stick around. You’re basically just paying to relocate ladybugs from California to your state. Instead of buying ladybugs, you can attract native ladybugs to your yard by planting native plants and other pollinator friendly plants around your property. Also, make sure you aren’t using insecticides in the garden. If you want to purchase and release a beneficial insect in your garden, green lacewings are a much better alternative.

Yeah… well when I’m up at 5am, stop at the local hospital to check on patients, in the office at 7:30, work through lunch, leave the office at 5:30 to be at the hospital at 6, see any patients waiting for my case on the wait list, finish surgery at 10, sign charts, check the patient before heading home, drive an hour home… I don’t give a rats ass how many loads of laundry you do, I don’t care you loaded the dishwasher…

No, I hate to see you relax while I hoover, do three loads of washing, empty the dishwasher and plan what to cook. Hope that helps.
