Here's a fun one. The blue outlined logo is the 2014 Spurs. The pink outlined logo is the 2026 Spurs. In spite of inflation in offensive and defensive ratings over the years, they have an almost identical Net Rating (8.1 vs 7.7) and FG% (48.6 vs 48.1) for the season. That's how good the Spurs are playing this year.

There is no way the 65-game rule should still be there next year. It is clearly a terrible rule and as I have said all along, it will have a big negative impact on long term legacy when great players have emptier award resumes because they played like 6 less games than someone not as good. Guys dropping out of the MVP and All-NBA race because they are just short of an arbitrary line that their competitors are just above is BS.

@shri_shobhit I seriously doubt this asteroid theory. Dinosaurs are much much larger than Elephants and thousands of them dying at one point of time with asteroids is highly impossible. In all likelihood there were asteroid hits but the main reason is that food chain collapsed.
