Day 37 Learning React Today I focused on improving the Hero section, adjusting a few things that didn’t feel right and refining the overall look. I also started working on the Services component, and I’m beginning to enjoy this project more as it comes together. Thankfully, no major errors today. Most of the challenge now is around design decisions, especially choosing the right colors and making everything feel consistent and clean. It’s a bit tricky, but I’m learning as I go and paying more attention to UI details. Step by step, the project is starting to take shape. Tomorrow, I’ll continue building and refining the layout. We keep going.

What if these companies are actually selling our data, and the whole “encryption” thing is just there to make us trust them?. Take WhatsApp for example, it says chats are end-to-end encrypted. But when fraud happens and it’s reported, somehow they can still access those conversations. So,what’s really going on??

People say encryption is impossible to break, yet companies get hacked every day. So what’s actually failing???

Tailwind removing the default cursor: pointer from buttons is honestly one of the most confusing decisions I’ve seen.What’s the point of using a <button> if we still have to manually add such basic behavior???

All these instances of Wordpress devs losing their cool immediately anyone mentions It….is so crazyyyy One went to create video sharply 😂 One is even testing the contact form on my portfolio with dummy messages 😂 Funny enough, It's not an attack. Nobody dey attack una 😂 Una just dey crash out anyhow sha And no, I don't need to have built the entire world before knowing your dear CMS tool has limitations. It doesn't require building the entire world before understanding the strengths of various tools. Those companies that didn’t rely on Wordpress for their core system, you think they want to stress when they have something that can easily do the work without a glitch? Use this one trend this week as you need it so badly 😉

It’s already night, but I just felt like sharing this. Comparison is the thief of joy. The moment you start measuring your life against someone else’s, you start losing sight of your own progress. Don’t compare yourself to people who started years before you,you’re not late, you’re just on a different timeline. Move at your own pace. Life isn’t a race, and rushing things because someone else seems ahead will only burn you out. What’s meant for you won’t pass you by. One thing we often forget is that there are so many people you’re actually doing better than, but you can’t see it because you’re too focused on those ahead of you. Everyone is fighting their own battles, running their own race. Celebrate your little wins. Be patient with yourself. Growth takes time, and consistency will always beat pressure. Believe in yourself and trust your journey. You will definitely win. Things will get better,I promise 💜

Day 36 Learning React Didn’t get to do much today because of school activities, this school really tried me today . I was busy almost the whole day, but I still found time to touch the project a little. I’m currently working on the Hero section of the Lagos barbershop landing page. I’m not done with it yet, just getting started, but I had to show up and post anyway. Little progress is still progress. We keep pushing regardless

Day 35 Learning React As I mentioned yesterday, I’m shifting my focus more towards website creation and landing pages. So today, I decided to start working on a Lagos-based barbershop landing page. The goal is to understand how real life landing pages are structured and built, not just coding for practice but creating something that feels practical and client ready. Today was mainly about preparation, gathering design inspiration, sourcing images, and planning the layout for the project. Tomorrow, we build!!!

Please, just because you always see me with my laptop doesn’t mean I’m making millions every week,Kindly change that mindset,I’m still learning, working, and figuring things out. Nothing serious is coming in yet 🤧!!!

Day 34 learning React Today I worked on the Transaction Table section of the finance tracker and finally fixed the bug that stressed me yesterday. Debugging can really humble you sometimes. To be honest, I didn’t enjoy building this project as much as I thought I would. It started feeling a bit boring to me, and I don’t want to force myself to work on something I’m not excited about. So I decided to push the project to GitHub and make it public. If you’re learning React like me, you can check it out, explore the code, and maybe learn one or two things from it. And if you run into any issues or have questions, my DM is always open. For now, I want to focus more on building websites and landing pages, because that’s the area I’m currently enjoying the most. So tomorrow I’ll be starting a new project in that direction. Big thank you to everyone who has been following and supporting my learning journey so far. Your encouragement really means a lot to me. Day 33 learning React Worked on the Transaction Table component today. The idea is that when you add a transaction and select whether it’s income or expense, the table should show the last five transactions. But,I honestly don’t even know what I coded 😹 the transaction history that’s supposed to show inside the table is showing up in the Dashboard instead. Feeling a little lost right now, so we’ll pick this up and fix it tomorrow!!

Day 31 & 32 learning React I finally started building the Small Business Finance Tracker I talked about. At first, I was confused about the design since this is my first time building something like this, so I just sketched it the little way I could. So far, I’ve worked on the Summary Card and Add Transaction components. It might look small, but it’s still progress. I’m mainly using this project to practice and learn the things I don’t yet know in React. Tomorrow we go again!!
