NEW: Police have released more info about the "Harry Dresden" break-in in Fairfield, CA, say both the homeowner & Nichols sustained head injuries.
Police are praising the "actions of the homeowner" who raced home to confront 30-year-old Jason Nichols with a shovel.
Authorities say that the homeowner's wife and child were inside when Nichols broke in. When Nichols was unable to break in through the front door, he broke in through a sliding glass door.
"The homeowner's husband, who was away at the time, observed the suspect through a home security camera and immediately returned to the residence," said police.
"As the suspect entered the home, the homeowner returned, armed himself with a shovel, and confronted Nichols."
"A physical altercation ensued, during which both the homeowner and Nichols sustained head injuries."
"We are grateful that the family is safe and commend our officers for their swift response in bringing this dangerous situation to a safe resolution."
The woman and child were reportedly unharmed.

@DoctorPlato @dawncebe I don't honestly. It gives Crafters and Gatherers something big to work on together. Island Sanctuary was kinda "set and forget" & Yoshi-P wanted people to take in slowly which no one did lol. Plus it gives us insight to the worlds the Loporitts would've taken us to if we failed

@OffensiveDef @dawncebe Sorry but Cosmic is the biggest waste of resources the game has ever had. We have 4 massive dead as fuck maps with almost 0 content in each of them. Insane waste of resources when those could have been OC maps or literally anything

most of these people will literally look at the release of dawntrail as a significant turning point of the ffxiv community before looking at what they themselves started doing differently around that time.

@DoctorPlato @dawncebe I think Relic, Trials and Planet Crafting have been fine. The only thing that really was a misstep outside the main MSQ was the Forked Tower in South Horn. If they made it queueable like how it was in Bozja it would've been great.

@dawncebe It's not that deep. The MSQ was the only thing keeping people from seeing how bad a lot of the elements of the game have been. DT had a joke of an expansion story and took years to get into an alright state. Content outside of raiding and the overall schedule has been abysmal.

@ILucasK Fr i once made a post suggesting it could be nice to get a trophy of the Ultimate as a housing item and the entire thread was FLOODED with people shitting on how Ultimates aren't really hard and the game sucks and how a shitty glowing weapon is enough reward for shit content. 🤦♂️

Okay I’ve seen so many people misunderstand what the release schedule is (jojo fans can’t read as usual). From what I can understand they are doing batches again but the episodes in the batches will be weekly. I think this is a very good way to release the anime

It's Jojo, a series that has about 6 other fully animated parts already out and a fanbase that has been begging publicly for years at this rate for weekly episodes.

Why wouldn’t you just WAIT to release the 1st episode to have a surplus of episodes afterwards?
Most people wouldn’t have minded if the series started in the fall, but this just feels like you pulled the trigger way too soon

@polishbeerfan @ShitpostRock2 Yes, the sound quality isn't great but it's the only buds that stay in my ear while I do physical labor and that's massively worth it for me.
I've had every iteration of Galaxy Buds, all fallen out. Status ANC3 and Pro Buds, fallen out. Pixel Buds, fallen out. So annoying.

@OffensiveDef @ShitpostRock2 I’ve tried many times and there ass. They fall out, they break under slight pressure. I’d rather use wired or five below wireless earbuds. Raycons are not designed like an ear. Why can’t we just use what works. The normal headphone style works fine
