As a kid who chose to only skip one grade; graduated HS @ 16 & college @ 19, I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment. Itโs not worth intentionally making your child the outcast just to boast about being the smartest in the room. Their social skills matter just as much!

Hey so I skipped 3 grades, was on tv etc &I want to be v clear! ONE is fine. But I am BEGGING you not to skip her more than that. Itโs all fine NOW in elem but one day she will be ~12 in HS w kids(boys!) 14-18 and it is no place for a small girl! Genuinely Traumatic/dangerous!
