This depressingly sums up our decaying state. The utter “cannot be arsed” attitude of those trusted to look after the public realm. An attitude to work which is to do the absolute bare minimum. An attitude to expenditure which is process not outcome driven.

@JosephPepper Haha glad you keep this going! I always agreed with you to a point but thought you can’t throw games away. Last year you were proven completely right losing Trent in that Fa cup game. Every year injuries come ruining what chance we have and for what the league cup!

I still maintain that we would not have gone on to win the league title last season were it not for the Carabao Cup win. Winning that trophy was the springboard that gave us the momentum and confidence to go on and be champions. Without it, Man City or Arsenal would be champions.

People slagging Trent like his defensive ability is pub standard is crazy. Won every trophy by the age of 23 and was key doing it. He is unbelievable in an attacking sense which we desperately need. Stick walker left back and Trent right back scrap this midfield idea!
