Not everyone comes from a background that recognises this kind of courage. Not everyone comes from a society that “allows” women to rise to the occasion so it's okay to doubt and call courage “woefully”. But one honour you cannot take from her is that, she is the “Influential African Woman of the 20th Century” that's not a joke. She did something women from your side of the world can never do, that's why she is all over history books and archives around the world. That's why a whole elite Secondary school was established to honour her “YAA ASANTEWAA GIRLS SHS”. She protected a Sovereignty, the Golden Stool.
Big Alpha@BigAfellay

Yaa Asantewaa never won a war. She lost the Yaa Asantewaa war woefully. One of the biggest war defeat in Asante history is the “The War of the Golden Stool” led by her

@kwakuhelate1 It's strange how this fools goes to bed thinking of Asante, wake up thinking of Asante, go for lunch thinking about Asante. Sometimes I wonder if their parents taught them only about Asante history.

@RafinhaUmar @BigAfellay You did not even take your basic education serious, bcs if you really did, you should've known that, no history book said Yaa Asantewaa won the war. The most important thing is that they succeeded in keeping the golden stool safe. Both of you indoctrinated fools.

Kwame Governs Agbodza, Minister of Roads and Highways, says our claim that a company with one staff has been awarded a contract under the Big Push is disinformation. Here’s the evidence from the SSNIT clearance certificate in the contract document signed between the Minister and build managers, which indicates that the company had only one worker when the contract was signed. Build Managers is upgrading the Apegusu- Mpakadan Feeder Road (9km) at GHS 146 million. Cost per kilometer of the feeder road is GHS 16 million.

@godfred_dante @ThePromiseCFC Even a fool, when he keeps quiet, is thought to be wise. When he closes his lips, he is thought of as a man of understanding. Which other group connect with Asantes than Northerners. Foolish talk.

@ThePromiseCFC My grandma told me a story about Slavery. That's the reason Ashanties don't respect Northerners, even today Ashanties still see Northerners as slaves and always look down on them.

@mfnfante @kwakuhelate1 Ah snr,Kwaman, Kokofu, Dwaben, manpong, Asumagya, Edweso and all the other smaller towns that came together to form Asante were also under Dankyira control. Or you don't know that part? They were been captured to be slaves to Dankyira kingdom or been sold to slavery.

@PBoadan @kwakuhelate1 Yeah Asante came out of thin air in 1701. Before the name Asante, the various tribes and states of Asante still existed. Using semantics won't help you. Even in the 1500s you're talking about, all the places you mentioned were not even Fante then. Semantics

@KojoEyiah3 @bondzii @VenPatriot The question is frm 14th cen. that slave started to 18th cen. Who were the middle men's? Was that not the Fantes and Ga's? Why blame the Asante which was formed 300yrs after slave trade has already started here?

@KojoEyiah3 @bondzii @VenPatriot George MacLean became a governor arnd 1830 to 1844,and he wanted to have a direct dealings with the Asantes bcs the Asantes demanded for that. Remember the Asantes were also trading in gold.

Ghanaman: Asantes caught your people and sold them as slaves. Confucius : Kae, how can those dwarfs capture our people, we are giants. It's an insult yo our people. Foreign man : Asantes caught your people and sold them as slaves. Confucius : Yes ✔️, their deeds will never be forgotten. They played a major part in slavery. Either you're being dense or you’re just dodging the truth about your ancestors. They sold your grandfathers nigga, my ancestors just bought them. 😏

@ihateFiifi Mind you the Asantes became dominant in 18th century, so in between that who were doing the slave trade? The coastal areas were all involved, including a powerful kingdom Dankyira.

@ihateFiifi The Portuguese were in country in the middle of 15th century, the Dutch and British came here arnd 16th century. In fact Elmina castle was built arnd 1482,so it could be possible slave trade started earlier than that It's took abt 300yrs bln before Asante was formed in 1701.
