On Thursday, Dr. Molly Zuckerman from MSU Dept of Anthropology & Middle Eastern Cultures spoke with our 6th graders about the bubonic plague epidemic of the 1300s know as the “Black Death.” Students have been studying the period in social studies. #ExpectExcellence

GrOW, Choir, MakerSpace... these 6th graders are enjoying their Exploratory classes this 9-weeks! Each 9-week period, 6th grade students can choose a different Exploratory class including Robotics, Theater, Music/Piano, Choir, MakerSpace, GrOW and Art! #ExpectExcellence

Student leaders are community leaders! Yesterday, our 7th grade Ambassadors volunteered during the annual Greater Starkville Development Partnership Get Swept Up event! They joined hundreds of volunteers to clean up Starkville. Great work, Ambassadors! #ExpectExcellence

The Partnership MathCounts team earned 2nd place at State competition this weekend! Congratulations to Matt Leigh, Peter Buys, Ian Jung, and Teddy Brain! Ian Jung also earned 2nd place in Individual competition and Peter Buys earned 5th place. Ian will advance to Nationals!
