@ZaytounaS Oh Samuel told us he had a fantastic time with Y1. He said there were a few glue killers (they'll know what we mean) but he said they worked really hard! You can see from the artwork how much effort was put in by all. Well done Y1!!!

Year 1 have had a wonderful day today at their Great Fire of London workshop with a special visit from Samuel Pepys! We created our own art work, tried writing with a quill, had a go at period dancing and so much more!! Thank you @PastProductions for a fantastic day!

Today we're in #slough with our #maya #workshop. So far the children have learnt to count, sacrifice and tried some #chocolate!

@ScottPughsley We wouldn't know the date of Samuel Pepys diary entries or many others if they didn't write dates. For me, they're recording knowledge. Also I'd like to think they get quicker after practice. I would do shorthand dates though!

What’s the obsession with underlining titles and dates? Why even write a date? Waste of learning time IMO.

We loved visiting @Broomfield_HS this Friday to finish off their exciting week off timetable with all things Knights and Fairy Tales! We dressed up, we jousted, we laughed....a lot!
