ALL MENTAL HEALTH DIAGNOSES ARE VOTED ON BY COMMITTEE AND ARE NOT SCIENTIFIC. So, yes, it is made up. I was labelled bipolar for a few years in the nineties (right after it replaced 'manic depression'), but that is 'so yesterday' - i've gone thru so many different labels since then. Now i'm calling myself an ACoN with C-PTSD who has genetic narcissist traits.
