@ExxAlerts Did the cyclist pretend to be hit by the car or something? Literally leaning on the car without any counter action just to fall and hope for some type of payday. It just didn't seem completely real to me.

ALERT: 72-year-old man arrested for hitting a group of cyclists after honking and heckling them for taking over the road in Georgia. Jerry Ross was driving when he pulled up behind a group of 10 cyclists in the road. He began honking and heckling the cyclists, and one of them started filming. Ross then sped around them while laying on the horn and hit 2 of the cyclists, causing minor injuries, before driving away. Ross, when confronted by police about the incident, blamed the cyclists for taking up the road and causing the collision. He was arrested and is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, hit and run, and reckless driving.

Number of 150+ IQ people in China is more than 4 times the USA because Chinese average iq is 107 vs 98. It's closer to 30 times more. And the ratio of 150+ IQ people getting whipped into studying hard and going into STEM is also significantly higher.

The “Kudasai” FamilyMart incident in Japan has now also made it to Chinese social media. What’s happening: a foreign employee at a FamilyMart convenience store in Japan gets very angry when a customer doesn’t say “please” (kudasai or onegai shimasu) when asking to have their snack heated. What makes this so silly is that the person demanding politeness not only doesn’t speak Japanese nor its polite form very well, but also expresses his demand for a “please/kudasai” in the most impolite way possible. I’d also argue that using direct speech like “Atatamete” (温めて “warm it up”) as a convenience store customer isn’t so much superrude as it is lazy or overly casual. The employee suggests he knows best how Japanese cultural exchanges should go, yet behaves in a way that’s so out of line with Japanese norms that it would almost be funny .. if it didn’t carry so much weight in a political/social climate where anti-foreigner sentiment is already ubiquitous.

Slavery didn’t help America or any country. It helped the people who used slaves. However, every study shows it makes the people poorer as it forces down wages. They don’t pass the savings on; they just take it historically. So it’s just the ultra-rich with slaves having an artificial advantage which, as we know, also worsens their economic activity over time.
