WATCH: A TikTok(KeaTalker) content creator, Kea Sefako, based in Cape Town, is encouraging illegal Nigerians to find ways to evade arrest and deportation. She claims she is raising awareness after illegal Nigerians were seen shooting each other with unlicensed guns in Parklands, Cape Town. Cape Town has the highest crime rate and gun violence. However, she did not feel it necessary to raise awareness on drugs and human trafficking committed predominantly by Nigerians. Instead, she is warning Nigerians who don’t have any form of documentation. Kea’s Statement in defence of Nigerians: “This video is meant to raise awareness for people living in Cape Town. Not everyone knows about the Parklands shooting and the current immigration situation is something serious that needs attention. People deserve to be informed about what’s happening around them. Those who are legally in South Africa should be able to provide the necessary documentation, while those without may face arrest. It’s also important to remember that Cape Town is a major tourist destination with many foreign nationals, some documented, others not. Many people rely on public transport, and unfortunately, some drivers may not have the proper permits or legal documentation. If they are stopped or arrested, passengers could be left stranded. At the same time, safety remains a concern, as incidents like robberies happen daily in Cape Town.”

#Wanted Free State SAPS are appealing for public assistance to identify two persons of interest linked to a brazen robbery at a chain store in Ladybrand on 9 April 2026. The suspects posed as police officials to gain access to the manager’s office, where they assaulted staff and forced the opening of a safe before fleeing with a large amount of cash and cellphones. A 43-year-old police officer has been arrested in connection with the incident, while four other suspects remain at large. The getaway vehicle, a white VW Polo with mismatched registration plates, was later found abandoned. The case has been handed to the Provincial Serious and Violent Crime Unit, and police urge anyone with information to come forward.
