
@_S_choir That’s true. I had great grades but I regret not making more connections and honing my network game. Great grades make great cogs at Kirkland but the moneymakers work the room.

the associate representative role is great training for the concept that any/all firm administrative roles should only be taken on upon duress, and even then think thrice before you do it. billable work is great, administrative work is not. especially if it takes you away from billable work, it will diminish your standing. avoid all committees, all titles (as many of you remind me on here).
