Generally agree.
I’m not sold on him, and he isn’t my first choice - but he is very good and I think he could get there.
He also comes from a swing state.
I think he is a McCain style candidate though (not in terms of policy) but that well liked, high ceiling, but because his personality is not “main character energy” all the time, will be overly defined by his VP pick if he gets a nomination.
So he has a tough time standing out in a crowded field, and would need a strong VP pick that isn’t just identity politics driven - but he could deliver, and no one really dislikes him.
I think if it was rank choice though, he’d have it. Because he is currently first choice for a small cohort, but he’s an acceptable 2nd or 3rd for many.

Remote voice actors deserve real support, not performative support. Talent does not begin and end in LA or London. There are incredible actors across the country and across the world who have built studios, trained hard, delivered broadcast-quality work, and carried projects with the same professionalism as anyone in a major market. If the industry truly believes in inclusion, accessibility, and opportunity, that support has to extend to remote talent too. Not just in words, but in casting, trust, pay, and respect. Voice acting is about performance, not a zip code.

One take away I had after VO Atlanta is how important it is to have examples of voice actors who live outside of the main hubs, working remote and making a living. If you are one of those people I ask you to share your story loudly and proudly, bringing some hope to young talent.

I will start. I have been working remotely for over a decade with 95-98% of my income coming from videogames and animation. I have been the sole provider of my family during that time and I love every minute of my job.
