@LangmanVince what does that make you being the opposite? Does it make you right? Hardly. Trump does not give one shit about you or he would be out fixing this astronomically insane economy. We are drowning out here and he spends billions a day to fix NOTHING.

Rep. Chip Roy promotes the PAUSE Act in response to the Dignidad proposal, seeking to restrict most immigration rather than expand legal pathways. The measure is framed as an alternative to broader immigration reforms.

Although I think in general, we attribute far too much value to someone's final words, it was not lost on me that Charlie's last written words on X were to my post of Iryna Zarutska. Charlie was k*lled the next morning. I think about it constantly. Honestly, it was the driving force behind my reporting on crime and the justice system for the past few months on this platform, especially in North Carolina I knew things were bad, I had no idea how bad they truly were. I thought I was radicalized back then... I had no idea how deep the rot actually would be. The reporting I've done since has shown me things I can't unsee. These judges sign off on releases that should never happen. Repeat offenders are cycling through a system designed to look busy while literally doing nothing at all to keep innocent people safe. Victims do not get justice. Meanwhile every single person you ask on the street, "Hey, do you think violent criminals are in jail?" They say, "Oh for sure!" And they are wrong. We were lied to and told to trust institutions that stopped deserving it YEARS ago. Iryna Zarutska was on that train because someone failed her. Not once. Many, many times. By many people with many fancy titles and many high-earning salaries and absolutely ZERO accountability. Charlie saw it. He knew, long before I ever did. He had been saying it louder than almost anyone. That the gap between what institutions claim to do and what they actually is a giant chasm. The appearance of order and the performance of safety, with nothing but rot underneath. I thought I was radicalized when Iryna was k*lled... I had NO IDEA how bad things were. And a LOT of people knew and said nothing because saying it out loud means people call you a racist or call you mean or call you a grifter... Well, Charlie can't say it anymore. But I can, and you can. It's the least we can do.

I think this is a “put up or shut up” moment. Quit holding press conferences and threatening to name names. A subpoena gets you out from underneath any NDA. Sit down in front of a Committee under oath and say who did what, when, where, and who you told.

This is gobsmacking. Not only did Melania Trump suddenly decide to give a televised address about Jeffrey Epstein, she's calling on Congress to "act," because Epstein was "not alone." So she just threw a giant stick of political dynamite on the issue her husband despises!

Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, Iran’s judiciary chief, has called for accelerating the executions of individuals linked to recent protests. While most governments in times of war prioritize the safety and security of their people, Iran’s ruling authorities focus on intensifying repression and carrying out executions against their own citizens. The Iranian people have no greater adversary than the Islamic Republic itself. #IranMassacre

ABC’s Luis Martinez: “[C]an you say today that the United States achieved the administration, achieved the military goals that you were you constantly delineated and — but strategically, is that a victory because of that? And also, you said earlier that the President chose mercy, but you yourself had said three weeks ago that we will give no quarter, no — no quarter to Iranian troops. How do you how do you correlate those two? And do you think that your comments may have put American troops at risk?” @SecWar: “No, I try to be nice up here, but you did listen to what I said, right? I laid out the objectives. We believe we’ve accomplished them. And it’s a historic military victory. And President Trump has the option, as the commander in chief, to compel an adversary to the table, which is precisely what he did. And at the end, he chose to say, you know what? I’d rather talk to you at the table than obliterate your capability to export oil and fund your terror regime, So he did make that choice. That was his choice. He was a president of peace, and he’s been willing to make those really tough calls that the American people elected him to do nothing. We’ve done. Not a single thing we’ve done is a typical — of course, it’s ABC — Not a single thing we’ve done has put an American troop in more of a harm’s way. We’ve only set our troops up to harm Iranian military capabilities, which they’ve done to devastating fashion and to great success.”

BREAKING: Vice President JD Vance’s anti-fraud task force has uncovered nearly $6.3 BILLION in suspected fraudulent “phantom contracts” awarded to potentially fake businesses. The task force identified 895 contracts given to just 392 businesses. Those companies now have 30 days to prove they are legitimate (including by showing a physical address) or they will lose all federal funding.

READ. THE. BILL. BEFORE. YOU. OPEN. YOUR. MOUTH. Calling the DIGNITY Act “amnesty” isn’t just wrong. It’s a deliberate distortion and it exposes just how little you know about the bill. This is enforcement first: zero tolerance for criminals, permanent border security, and hard, earned requirements to step forward and face the law, so American workers are protected, not undercut. Amnesty is the chaos you’ve defended, millions in the shadows, no control, no accountability, and a system that stopped working a long time ago. No shortcuts. No giveaways. No blanket forgiveness. That’s law and order. That’s DIGNITY.
Congressman Brandon Gill@RepBrandonGill

The Dignity Act is mass amnesty and would constitute a terrible betrayal of our voters.

Holy shit not only do @lawler4ny and @RepMariaSalazar want to grant mass amnesty for illegals currently here — THEY WANT TO BRING BACK ILLEGAL ALIENS WHO WERE PREVIOUSLY DEPORTED THEY WANT TO IMPORT MORE ILLEGAL ALIENS. Let that sink in. Unforgivable.
Wall Street Mav@WallStreetMav

The Dignity Act gets EVEN worse than I thought. It allows every illegal alien deported by Trump since January 2017 to return to the USA. They can apply for their new "dignity status" from their home country and then return to the USA.

So, I did exactly what you asked and I sat down and read ALL 261 pages of your bill. It does support mass amnesty and I'll tell you exactly where: Pages 162-170... The Dream Act: You grant conditional lawful permanent resident status to ILLEGAL ALIENS who: >Have been continuously present in the U.S. since January 1, 2021 >Entered before age 18 >Meet education, employment, or military service requirements >Pass criminal background checks On top of this, in Sec. 2102(b)(3)(B), DACA recipients get fast-tracked to conditional green card status. ...which is literally mass amnesty BUT THE BILL GOES EVEN FURTHER!!! On pages 204-217, you present the Dignity Program: This is a separate track for illegal aliens who don't qualify for the Dream Act. If you are an illegal aliens who: > Was continuously present since December 31, 2020 >Pay a $1,000 upfront "restitution" fee >Submit biometrics, pass a background check >No felony convictions You get work authorization + travel authorization + deferred removal for 7 years After completing the 7-year program (paying $7,000 total in fees, staying employed, obeying laws, paying back taxes): We grant you: > "Dignity Status" which is essentially a lawful nonimmigrant status, which is renewable any number of times >Work and travel authorization But the most important bit that you're hiding here is that it totally suspends deportation of anyone who qualifies for this. This would effective end ALL MASS DEPORTATIONS in the United States immediately. You are a liar, you are a fraud, everything you stand for is fake... did YOU read your own bill? Because I just did, and you are a damned LIAR!!!!!

On the one hand, it’s deeply satisfying that the former Vice President of the United States, who falsely fueled hopes of an inquest into election fraud, can barely muster 20 retweets, not counting the quote tweets mocking him. On the other hand, given how unpopular he is, it does make you wonder who funded this book, because it certainly won’t be ordinary Americans buying it.
