In the wake of the shocking attack on @Hatzola (a voluntary community ambulance provision) in North London, @Ldn_Ambulance is developing a package of practical support. We are in touch with clinical leaders in the Hatzola team. A more detailed statement will follow.

@DrBoofle @Jay_OCeal576 @jasonkillens @Hatzola @Ldn_Ambulance The point of their existence IMO is members of a community volunteering to serve their community, similar to any voluntary medical organisation like St John Ambulance or British Red Cross. They have a mix of EMT’s and HCPC registered paramedics working on the ambulances.

So is this legislation legal or lawful? Surely the UK is governed and police by consent, which means statutes and acts of parliament require consent of the governed to enforce it? Common law is lawful which covers things such as assault murder or any kind of physical harm to another human being. That is the law of the land which everybody has to obey.
