@Middy115 @NHLJets I turned off my TV when Mason Appleton missed the wide open net against the Stare. I quit then, cold turkey. I did not watch a second of this season. I haven’t even listened to a Jets themed podcast. It’s the same cycle over and over it’s like they don’t even see the problems.

@jpolly22 Injuries and desperately trying to make up a point deficit after a slow start did them in. Good push that fell short. Feels like an anamoly and they’re going to be back next year. That said, key vets are aging so their window doesn’t have as much runway

The Jets are officially out of the playoffs… Here are my Thoughts: Am I upset like so many of our fans? Of course. But is this the end of the world? Absolutely not. Before this season, the Jets missed the playoffs just ONCE since the 2016-17 campaign. Spoiled might not be the right word, but we’ve become so used to making the postseason that it’s a letdown when we don’t. Playing hockey in mid-late April has become an expectation for the Jets and that is the sign of a good franchise. I think the same thing can be said for the Leafs. Imagine being a fan of a team like the Buffalo Sabres, who haven’t been back since 2011?! Props to their fans for sticking with their squad through all of those miserable seasons. I’m so happy for them. I’m not saying there aren’t changes that need to be made in the offseason, but there were some positives to take away from the past year. Let’s regroup and get back next year Jets fans!! It’s gonna be weird without the Winnipeg and Toronto in the playoffs 🤷‍♂️
