I have to say: I'm really starting to get concerned about tornado potential on Monday and Tuesday. There's still enough time for the setups to go off the rails. But the raw material is there for something historic. I really hope it doesn't materialize.

@BrandonCopicWx @Beanrock1241 Yes, but the ones driving 25 mph when the circulation is 2 miles up the road, because they have literally no idea what they’re doing is a problem. Those people need to be in cars with people who know what they’re doing.

Hot take: I am NOT better than anyone just because I work with national networks, I am a YouTuber, have spent tens of thousands of dollars on equipment, and this is my full time job. The 16 year old kid that is on his first chase has just as much right to be on the road as I.

@JordanHallWX Need some innovative minds to organize and professionalize the chasing scene. Get people paid salaries then fine the shit out of you for breaking the law.

Obviously this bill was completely ridiculous and unrealistic, which is exactly why I fought it so hard and spent hours pushing back on it. I’ll never sit here and tell anyone not to storm chase. But you have to stay safe. Pay attention. It’s way too easy to get distracted by radar, tech, and everything happening around you in the moment. We’ve all made mistakes, but the level of chaos over the past few months has been insane. Take those extra couple of seconds and stay locked in on your situational awareness. And before the “red light” comments start rolling in, I still find it frustrating to get labeled for “running red lights” when I wasn’t even the one driving.

The dumbassary on the roads today makes me ready to walk into the capital and demand the storm chaser bill: this is actually unsafe
