3 years ago today, I chased a localized tornado outbreak in the Chicago Suburbs. I was able to document a pair of twin tornadoes near Elgin, IL alongside with @Get_EMLd. Up there for one of my favorite chases! #ilwx

This was the most incredible tornadogenesis I have ever witnessed. On May 25, 2016 this tornado formed north of Solomon, Kansas in the most dramatic way possible. This is still my number one chase to this day.

"Traffic camera"...... Right. Flock cameras aren't the endgame; they're the opening act. If you give cops an inch of surveillance, they will inevitably take a mile of overreach. The ONLY reliable way to prevent abuse of power is to never grant it in the first place.

One of my favorite moments in storm chasing. The amount of awe I felt is something I just can't put into words, especially after brutally missing Gary and Watertown. The feeling of redemption made this tornado even 100x better. Dixon, SD - 7/28/2025
