Gyokeres is a European Golden Boot winner before joining Arsenal, Saka was firing and the quality of the squad is immense.
All killed by his style of play which is rigidity.
You can watch other teams and see clear identity, but Arsenal is a team under cannot tell whether they're attacking or defending. Just bodies all over the place.

If #Arsenal are 9 clear having played w/o a top class striker (even if Viktor tries his best), with Saka way off form, & skipper Odegaard restricted to 13 starts, it means 2 things:
- Arteta's doing an unbelievable job.
- GK, DF & MF have been exceptional.

They’re ‘friendlies’ for a reason. What’s the harm in players pulling out to preserve fitness and avoid injury with the absurd minutes they rack up domestically these days. If international managers want to drop those individuals then fine but they understand it’s for the best.

What even is the point of having international friendlies? Arsenal clearly have told all of their players to pull out of international duty. If FIFA don’t crack down on this behavior, we will end up having youth teams fielded in any game that’s not competitive qualifying.

This is exactly what Arsenal need this summer, one of the worlds best attackers - someone who can create something out of nothing.

An outlet LW that can go 1vs1, run in transition, shoot and create.
A ST that provides something different from Gyökeres, someone who can come short and combine.
