Working toward that $10k/month goal is teaching me a lot about ego. Using big words was my way of hiding the fact that I’m still a beginner. But the more I simplify, the more people actually respond.

David Ogilvy said: "Advertising people who ignore research are as dangerous as generals who ignore decodes of enemy signals." Start with the reader. Soak up their reviews. Join their communities. Steal their exact language. Copy that sounds like the reader converts 2x better.

My first coaching emails were paragraphs of credentials and methodology. Three certifications, ten years of experience, links to research. Then I started writing like I was texting a friend who needed help. Shorter emails. Better responses. The credibility was already in the results, not the vocabulary.

Spent way too long on an email today. Kept adding proof and big words because I was scared no one would take me seriously. But that's not all.

So I deleted half of it. Just going to say the thing and let it be what it is.

When you try that hard to convince someone, you’re basically telling them: "I don't think this is believable on its own."

@RyanTNotes @IAmAaronWill i feel we often price ourselves based of our self esteem when you running low, you are sht with price, it's only when you really know what you are worth and you feel it deep inside, you can charge correctly

I once charged a dude $3k for my services. When we finished delivering he tells me that he would've paid $10k. I was mad. So I increased my prices. Don't undersell yourself. Charge more.

@Jayyanginspires Probably the best definition of success I've heard. Money is cool but it's not the end game.

@danmartell Affirmations felt fake until I started actually documenting the small wins. Seeing the data change is the only thing that shifts the mindset.

Harsh reality: You can't outperform your self-image. If you see yourself as a loser, you won’t try to win. If you see yourself as unworthy, you'll sabotage success. Your external reality always aligns with your internal identity. You need evidence to change your self-image. 100 days of proof beats 1,000 days of affirmations. Start stacking wins.

@KevinSzabo14 Everyone is playing it safe to avoid being wrong. The 1% are usually the ones who are okay with testing weird ideas that 99% of people would laugh at.

If you wanna be successful in life. Look at what 99% of people are doing. Analyze it, then do the opposite.

@stijnnoorman I'm 22 and thankfully seeing this now. Documenting the $10k journey in real-time is way better than waiting until I've already made it.

I’m 27. If you’re 16–27, listen. Start creating content. Write or record every day. Build a brand people trust. Solve your own problems. Then help others to solve their problems. That’s how you get freedom.

@Jayyanginspires It’s a weird paradox for creators. You have to share to grow, but the best work happens when you’re completely offline and focused.

Be too busy living a good life to worry about telling others you're living a good life.

@stijnnoorman I’m currently in the bad phase of testing new hooks and outreach. Just documenting the reps until the math finally starts to make sense.

Nobody is good at the start. Nobody is bad after 10,000 attempts.

@IAmAaronWill I'm still in the manual phase and it’s a massive time sink.

@thejustinwelsh The best copy is honest. Trying to look successful is just bad marketing because people can smell the insecurity from a mile away.

A very expensive mistake is spending your 20s and 30s trying to look successful instead of becoming successful.
