@RoyaleAPI @ClashRoyale @RoyaleAPI_News if i may provide feedback: card rating seems highly correlated with win rate, and less with usage. this is counter-intuitive. imagine a card so good, it has 100% use rate. by definition, win rate is 50%! it *should* be rated at the top, because it's the best card in the game.

@iKilledKenny_44 @Julesy237 Just know that it often takes years to find the right cocktail. Variance in human make-up is huge and it will be a long journey to find the right mix. Even if the active ingredients in the SSRIs are the same, slight variance (brand) give different results. Good luck!

@Julesy237 @SML_RoyaleAPI It depends what doc you talk to aswell. When I was younger my doc would not prescribe me pills for anything.
Whereas a uni doc I'd never seen before prescribed me Xanax and SSRIs in 20 minutes without telling me what they were.

@RoyaleAPI @ClashRoyale @RoyaleAPI_News deck rating is great - i feel it captures how "good" a deck is. i'm not sure if the formula for card rating is the same, but right now, it feels off. for example, Supercell is likely to nerf a card that is 50% use rate, 51% win rate; moreso than 5% use rate, 60% win rate.

@ripsluttysonny @SML_RoyaleAPI it’s a trade secret. think of Google’s search algorithm: everyone understands the general idea that search ranking consider links in addition to content, and more links to your site boosts your ranking. but no one outside of Google knows the exact secret sauce.

For a long time, we know that both usage and win rate play important roles but their relationship was not immediately apparent.
Rating was born out of collaborations with data scientists, who helped us unify the two disparate values into a single meaningful number.

On the upper end, where usage + win rates are both high, Rating will have a similar order as win rate. But if you look at the lower end, you will see how Rating factor in both use rates and win rates to give a more meaningful number.
