@iggigg My God, ovulating with fallopian tubes riddled with endo. I felt so validated and relieved by my medic friend saying it was obvious from my bloods that I needed admission for pain control. The gaslighting is unbelievable.

Showed a medic friend my blood results during period pain (CK >800, CRP circa 500, no infection, just a horrendous period) and he was like "THEY DIDN'T GIVE YOU ANY PAIN RELIEF?" Not saying he's more empathetic to women's stuff because he's gay, but also he definitely is.

@iggigg Fortunately my regular GP is great with gynae stuff and takes it appropriately seriously. Also good with MH and doesn't gatekeep prn when it's clear I need it. This was an emergency appt though, so I got that cunt. Often the same with urgent MH appts, sadly.

@iggigg I don't think it even impacts the pain, but makes me a bit more chill about it. Fewmin coz he put on my records "discussed discontinuing cocodamol re risk of dependence" and I'm like "no, you discussed discontinuing because gynae pain is just women being hysterical"
