I'm coming out of hibernation to tell you all that my book Abnormal Peripheries is here and it's gorgeous and I love it! It tells the story of performance on cultural peripheries, arguing for historiography from the side as an essential way of understanding the centre.

Noticed a few independent and popular businesses closing in Cardiff recently and whenever I talk to locals it's nearly always the Landlords have risen prices to absurd degrees seeking big chains over independents- turning every city centre into carbon copies of one another
