@milkkarten Anyone who thinks AI is serving up expert takes is either inexperienced or dumb. My experience has been chatGPT is an over confident mid level strategist that is somewhat coachable. When it get's it right, it's a delight, but mostly it just gives me praise and flimsy frameworks.

@mattstasoff Apple has used a dedicated micro-shop (MAL) that is an arm of TBWA for years. Even though MAL was under Omnicom it was essentially an Apple division. I don’t know if in-housing was the problem here

worth noting the recent Apple Intelligence ads that are bombing are also done in-house if only these companies had money to hire an agency

The Apple iPad commercial and the Google Gemini AI commercial are different versions of the same thing. They both give the same feeling that something is very off, a sort of tone-deafness to the valid concerns and fears of the majority. Both spots developed in-house.
