There's such a different response to this from Japanese fans and everyone else, most people are happy about a dead game being brought back by the community. But I've seen a bunch of Japanese fans angry about this because it goes against the wishes of Square Enix.

They're brand new. It also falls in line with other images from last year that seems to be ai generated as well

@ChocoBites3 @batv4leska @Valence7742 @Stealth40k They probably used upscaling ai or help of ai for the puzzles. Layton’s artstyle was always funky and this doesn’t look ai to me except the smoothness which is what every upscaling images have

@Blitzwinger Yeah except he now has 3 skins that are not a recolor like the pirate one and the maid one and the shirt ones. To me the ESU is the same as the tournament ones. It’s all the same skin basically with different shirts and logos.
