Is THIS the face of a gallumphing womble that tried to attend a picnic she was not invited to?

These programs do displace men and break up families because women get more for the family by being single than married. Before those programs, men would marry women and have babies (or their pregnant girlfriends). After the “great society” women started kicking men out of the house to maximize social services.

@Tree_Folklore Mine must be at least satisfied with me because when things go missing they turn up where they were supposed to be exactly 45 minutes later. Every time. I tell the air that was a funny joke and go about my day.

There is an old belief that kindness given freely to the unseen world is never forgotten… and never left unanswered 🪄 One evening, a woman heard a gentle knock upon her door and when she opened it, a stranger stood there, not quite ordinary, not quite known, and asked to borrow her kettle ☕ Without hesitation, the woman placed it in her hands and soon after, the visitor returned again, this time asking for oats. Once more, they were given freely, with a simple wish that they might cook well and bring comfort. But the stranger paused… and insisted the oats be cooked there and then. And as they simmered, she turned and said “If ever you wake to find something missing, do not worry… it shall be returned... better than it was before” Before leaving, she pressed her heel into the earthen floor, marking it with a hollow and said “If ever we should die, or become lost… this hole shall fill with blood” 🩸 Yet forever after the hollow remained dry. And from that day on, whenever small things went missing from the home, they would return again… Not only restored, but in greater measure as well as in finer quality, as though by furnished by magical hands ✨ For the fair folk are said to remember generosity… And where kindness is given without question, their blessings are said to follow in quiet, unseen ways 🌙

It's the first day of spring! And I can tell! Things are starting to turn green. Now I need to start watering so things will start to pop up. I love this time of year. Seeing what is going to come back. And also going to buy new plants. It's going to be a great day! Mornin

@bunsenbernerbmd I once went to the vet all panicky because my Irish Wolfhound had a puncture wound on his belly. Turned out to be an infected and inverted nipple because he was letting my rescue kittens try to nurse on him.

@muchado33 I beg to differ (though I do know koalas can get very cranky.) The scariest thing ever is what the inside of a penguin’s mouth looks like.

@NiallHarbison I think it’s brave & helpful to be so open. The world needs more people to talk about it. As a sometime sufferer myself, I would just like to remind you that the brain lies sometimes. When I’m doing okay & next day not, I remember it’s brain chem not reality.

My confidence and self worth haven’t been great lately and I just wanted to say thats ok so other people who suffer with depression or anxiety know that it’s ok to feel like that. I’m CEO of Happy Doggo and most people in positions like mine have to hide stuff like this. Most people in all positions In life do actually. It’s really hard to admit you don’t feel the best about yourself. That’s why I just write it down as I feel because maybe it’ll help someone. Between our team, partners and everything wrapped up in what I do there are probably 100+ people who rely on me. Add in social media, donors and everything else and that’s a massive happy facade to keep up. I’ve learnt though that it’s ok to say you are not ok. At the moment I’m going through the motions. Still working hard and trying my best but I feel a bit worthless. No self worth at all. I also have imposter syndrome. I know I can jus read the comments here or look at the dogs saved and I should be happy but it doesn’t bring me anything. I look in the mirror at the moment and can’t even really look at myself. No particular reason or spark for this. As people who suffer know it just comes in a dark wave like a fog. I could easily share some happy dog photos and smile and pretend I felt amazing. But I’d rather be honest and try to help others. I have untold amounts of support and good luck that many of you dont. So if you're feeling down or a little rough right now, that's okay because so am I, and it's absolutely fine to say that. Have a lovely weekend and be kind to each other ❤️
