@eliguerron One of my favourite things about a new Apple product is discovering the little features that don’t make the website call out. Sometimes the little things count the most.

When I was at Apple, I loved working on micro interactions that you see all over the OS. Now that I’m not an apple I still like to solve for these little problems that really annoyed me. In this case, I designed a backspace button with a speed controller, so by just pressing it you can delete by letter and then immediately by word as you stretch it, without having to wait (like it usually does on the OS) and then if you stretch a little more, you can speed delete through words… I’m also working on another one where you can repair the words if you over-deleted it by accident 😜 (it also has haptic feedback, which makes it really fun)

After a short Sunday nap, I vibe coded an ultra realistic flight simulator with Cursor and Three.js in 40 minutes. It has some bugs and flaws, but I’m somehow satisfied with the realistic scenes. It obviously runs in the browser.

@ijustine I read Elons post as saying that it’s absurd to think that Apple aren’t smart enough to build their own AI 🤷‍♂️ I.e. they have incredible talent and of course they can, so why integrate chatGPT.

@SketchHelp I have a file that won’t open in V99.5 as it says it needs to be opened in V93, however when I try to open it in V93 I get the second error ‘Couldn’t load data’? Any suggestions?

Time to say goodbye to my iPhone 13 Pro Max after 2 years. To be completely honest, I started out enjoying the phone, but over the past 2 years I've grown to really dislike it. The hardware is great, only real issue is that in the summer it overheats, and the display becomes unusably dim. All of my other issues are with iOS. It's just unintuitive, clunky, buggy, and lacks features that should really be here by now. I just don't get the hype for iOS. Just my opinion though, I respect those who prefer it.
