Wow - riding to the station just now (4 minute ride) and the 2nd driver to pass me winds his window down and shouts : "Get on the footpath w@nker" The sh!t you have to put up with riding a bike.

Finally got to listen to this today (whilst driving ironically). Really great to hear the Secretary of State for Transport explain that the importance of Active Travel to solving the public health and the climate emergency is understood. Fingers crossed for the future!

@amy_tisi @WAMActUK @MarkRWilsonUK At the recent Ascot SPD meetings I raised the issue of the elderly pedestrian who was killed a couple of years ago - immediately dismissed as an accident, rather than a consequence of the car dominated street.
