@allquantor There’s always a fee to be paid, and the ETH fee isn’t plannable. The question always comes down to who pays it. We eat all SOL gas fees. That’s not an indication of the sophistication of one ecosystem over another it’s just the limitations we’re all working in.

@allquantor With the Eth solution you’ll be sitting there waiting for an arbitrage bot to come in and decide the execution is profitable. Or you’ll pay that gas fee and the total is often much higher than our fee. You can’t run a business or service that way.

The high level of activity on Solana is partly due to the significant complexity involved in building even simple applications. Developers need extensive expertise, including:
•A deep understanding of Solana’s account-based architecture implemented in Rust.
•Proficiency in working with macros.
•Experience setting up and running local validators.
•Access to and the ability to pay for preferred RPC services.
•A fully updated and operational testnet.(does not exist)
While I admire Solana and everything it has accomplished, building on the platform is challenging and resource-intensive. It requires a skilled team, which means considerable financial investment. This is one reason VC culture is so prevalent in the Solana ecosystem—substantial resources are needed to get projects off the ground.

The Solana ecosystem has an alarming lack of docs, content, and research. We must fix this to onboard more people and improve the ecosystem. When? Entire month of February Where? @HNT_Investor @helium No, ownership is still owned by the user technically. We are purely non-custodial. The user generates a contract and when you stake an NFT into the contract, the user's wallet address is the only one who has the ability to modify it. We have no way of changing that contract.
